Really Billy...Really?

I must say, for a while I tried to look at Bill O'Rielly in a more positive light. Just as the "political commentator" that he claims to be. I said to myself, "it's OK, this man has an opinion. And even though sometimes it seems crazy he manages to back himself up with logic, even if that seems crazy sometimes also...".

But, I cant take it anymore. This man is dangerous (along with Glenn Beck), not because he'll eat you if you try to argue with him, but because he has influence. I should rephrase that, BILL O'RIELLY ISN'T DANGEROUS, HIS INFLUENCE IS. Many many many people watch him, listen to him, believe him, and follow him. He's not always wrong, and I'll be the first to admit it. But sometimes (NOT ALWAYS), the things that he says border on the ridiculous.

The issue at hand was the Ground Zero mosque.

Whoopi and Joy lost it, but Bill lost it and only he couldn't tell.

"Muslims killed US on 9/11"
First, it's wrong to group Muslim extremists with the multitude of non-extremist Muslims. Bill used a poor choice of words
Second, nobody seems to remember the days when all Muslims weren't considered terrorists. This giant cloud of shame which we have imposed upon Muslims, especially American Muslims, could lighten up a little by America trying to offer a sign of understanding (ex. mosque).

Americans always want to put the U.S. on a high horse when it comes to relations with people, by being the bigger person on this, we could be.

And if his goal was to try to put Christian America Vs. Islamic Middle East
and he should remember
"Muslims" killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11,
but
"Christians" killed roughly 350,000 non -Christians in the crusades,
"Christians" killed roughly 5,000 "non-Christians" in just the Spanish inquisition,
The "Christian" Ku Klux Klan killed 1,937 non-white Christians,
The "Chrisitian" Scott Roeder murdered a one, George Tiller on May 31, 2009.

This isn't a question of which religion is morally superior, because if it was, an Eastern Asian religion would win.

Bill O'Rielly should learn when to hold his tongue
